T’Liza Kiel is a dedicated leader, veteran, consultant, and public speaker with a lifelong passion for service, education, and community engagement. Her career has spanned military service, nonprofit leadership, and advocacy. She brings a wealth of experience in mentorship, strategic planning, and public speaking, skills that allow her to inspire, educate, and drive meaningful change.

T’Liza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
As Director of a national nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue serving in their communities, T’Liza works daily to build strong networks of leadership, mentorship, and service.

T’Liza has worked with national agencies such as Mental Health First Aid, All Rise (formerly the National Association of Drug Court Professionals), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). She provides training, education, and leadership development to support mental health awareness, substance abuse recovery programs, and community-based initiatives nationwide through her facilitation and consulting work.
VETERAN
T’Liza served eight years in the Texas Army National Guard, including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she saw firsthand the power of resilience, leadership, and teamwork—values she carries into her career and community work.

Her work has led her to serve on the Houston Mayor’s Challenge Committee on Veteran Suicide, and she has organized impactful initiatives such as The Women Veterans Empowerment Expo. Her commitment to service, education, and advocacy has earned her numerous recognitions, including:
